The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T

The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. TIn the mood for a Musical Fantasy Film by Dr. Seuss? NPR Weekend Edition recently featured ‘The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T’, and I think you would enjoy the fun! The plot and production values are over the top: Dr. Terwilliker plans to force 500 young boys to practice piano 24 hours a day! Bart is the ‘only hope to save these boys’. The only feature film written by Dr. Suess was directed by Roy Rowland with some takes by Stanley Kramer. Wonderful songs are available in Cd form with a recent release by singer Michael Feinstein.
